AMY GRUBER

Amy Gruber is a South Haven Michigan native where she grew up along the lakeshore swimming competitively from the age of 6. She began Coaching when her 3 daughters started swimming competitively in 2006.


As coach of a Girls Varsity High School Swim Team, she successfully took them to MHSAA D3 State for nine out of her ten years.


She is the Community Swim Director for South Haven Public Schools since 2008 where she is responsible for the swim and safety education of all second through fifth graders in the district.

 

In 2016 she started as a mobile Swim Instructor: ‘Swim Lady Coach’, which she continues today.


Amy has a passion for teaching swimming and a love for the sport. She does what she loves daily.


She is certified through the American Red Cross as a Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard, Lifeguard Instructor, CPR Professional Rescuer/AED and First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor.
